The C&C store in Bolzano is moving and getting a makeover. As of September 7th, Palais Campofranco will host one of the shops of the largest Italian Apple Premium Reseller: in the city's living room, located in Walther Square, where the traditional Christmas market and many other events are held, it will be possible to experience the Apple world up close and take advantage of the services of the C&C brand, in a space of over 200 square meters.

In the square named after Walther von der Vogelweide, the famed minnesinger - built back in 1808 and commissioned by King Maximilian of Bavaria - and just a few steps from the Bolzano Cathedral, stands the new C&C store, in what was once a meeting and relaxation spot for citizens and early tourists from the court of Vienna who discovered the beauties and mild climate of a city that had preserved almost intact its medieval structure.

Between past, present, and future, the new C&C store is perfectly architecturally integrated into the historic Palais Campofranco, built in the second half of the 18th century, which subsequently became the residence of Archduke Ranieri Joseph of Austria and his wife, Princess Elisabetta of Savoy, and today has been redeveloped to give back to the city a new and refined urban space.

The emblem of the palace is its monumental ginkgo biloba tree, a gift to Empress Elisabetta of Austria, more commonly known as Princess Sissi, from her uncle Heinrich. It is around it that the internal courtyard-garden of the palace of over 100 square meters elliptical develops, on which the C&C store has one of its large halls, along with the main one on Walther Square, thus enjoying one of the most beautiful views of the center of Bolzano.

“On the year of the twentieth anniversary of our brand, which now counts 40 stores – the C&C administrators, Michele and Luca Gigli, relate – it is a matter of pride and satisfaction for us to achieve this further milestone that sees us present with one of our shops in the prestigious Palais Campofranco, in the historic heart of the city. The redevelopment project that saw it reborn, the result of a competition of ideas, restores dignity, new spaces, and services to the central Walther Square, while respecting the history and architecture of what was once the residence of the House of Habsburg. In its own small way, C&C can also claim to have brought to light a piece of the history of South Tyrol, looking to the future.”

Between historic and contemporary, C&C customers will have at their disposal a showroom with over four display windows where they can choose their favorite Apple device, go shopping, find the professionalism of Apple Specialists, and take advantage of all the consumer, education, and business services made in C&C along with certified Apple support.
