Bari town council has approved a resolution allocating 500,000 euros for the purchase of technological devices and connectivity cards to be distributed to less affluent families, whose children are enrolled in the primary and secondary schools of the city of Bari, based on a survey conducted in collaboration with school principals.

Currently, the municipal offices, in collaboration with the city's schools, have identified a total need for technological devices of 4,950, of which only 1,842 (40%) can be guaranteed using the funds allocated by the MIUR.

This need has already received an initial response with devices donated by companies and trade associations, as well as through a call for expressions of interest published by the Municipality of Bari, which has already collected availability for refurbished tablets and PCs in the first few weeks.
