SAE Milan, IAAD Turin and Accademia Italiana Rome are the three institutes of higher education for the creative disciplines, part of the international AD Education network, now proudly equipped with new technologies to meet the multiple and constantly evolving teaching needs.

C&C, together with Exertis, was responsible for most of the installations.

AD Education Italy is the Italian branch of the international higher education network for creative and artistic disciplines, which brings together 19 schools and 70 campuses in France, Italy, Spain and Germany, for a total of over 35,000 students.

Its three locations - SAE in Milan, IAAD in Turin and Accademia Italiana in Rome - welcome students wishing to specialize in areas such as audio-video production, design, fashion, visual communication and photography, sectors in which technology has played an increasingly central role. In each facility, a multipurpose room has recently been set up for teaching purposes as well as for collateral events.

Federico Forni, IT Manager of IAAD, explains how the project came about and the partnership with C&C for the work carried out at the SAE, IAAD and Accademia Italiana locations.

"The challenge was to equip ourselves with multipurpose rooms for teaching purposes. The need for the intervention arose from the SAE Institute, present in 28 countries on 6 continents.

SAE Institute Europe is today part of the AD Education group and SAE Italia, based in Milan, offers training courses in the field of audio production, but also in film and television, 2D/3D animation, gaming and music business.

We needed to set up a lecture hall to be used in particular to accommodate two or three theoretical classes. Even though sound lessons are held in specially structured classrooms, the goal was to install high-level audio and video equipment that would guarantee performance in line with the school's prestige.

Starting from SAE's request, we tried with C&C to find a way to create three classrooms. The Accademia Italiana headquarters in Rome has recently moved to a new structure, so we needed to create a lecture hall from scratch. At IAAD in Turin, on the other hand, the lecture hall was already present, but it was necessary to install a video system to add to the existing audio system. In general, Accademia Italiana and IAAD had more frontal needs, but we wanted future-proof environments in any case.

With C&C there is a relationship of great trust that has lasted for years, so it was natural to turn to them when this need arose. There is great satisfaction for the work done: in the last two years C&C has implemented several projects together with IAAD and Accademia Italiana. The SAE lecture hall was obtained from a space that previously housed offices, so C&C also had to interact with bricklayers and electricians, meeting all our needs.

The brands chosen, including C&C, therefore allowed us to offer the highest quality, given the level of training provided."
