There is also C&C alongside the Children's Hospital of Brescia and the Avisco Association, ready to start with “Cartoons in the Ward”, a project that since 2012 has involved young patients from Lombardy in the creation of small animated films, and which from July 15th will be available in experimental and hi-tech mode, becoming CIC IN TOUCH.

An innovative and alternative version of the classic in-person workshops that, thanks to targeted remodelling work, until September 30th, with two appointments per week, will involve the guests of the Child and Adolescent Neuropsychiatry department at the Hospital.

Through video production workshops, the girls and boys will explore the expressive and communicative potential of digital animation, using the iPads provided free of charge by C&C as inexhaustible sheets of paper, creating moving images drawing by drawing and working both individually and in groups.

Moreover, thanks to the collaboration with the Milan-based start-up ARIA – The AR platform, the videos created will leave the hospital walls in a novel and absolutely surprising form: augmented reality. It will be enough to download the free application on the iPad and frame the images created by the young patients, printed on postcards, t-shirts, stickers, and posters to see them in motion, as in a real magic.

This cutting-edge technology, but simple to use for the public, opens the way to countless artistic possibilities for disseminating the results, which will temporarily replace the big screen of the cinema to which the patients were accustomed with the traditional version of the project.
